We are thrilled to be able to share with our newsletter readers that one of your favorites, Gold Shaping Gel, is back in production. 
 
As mentioned in our Winter Newsletter, Sedona Spa is committed to improving our formulations, and we have eliminated the preservatives Methylparaben and Propylparaben in our new formula.  Additionally, you will be experiencing fabulous new packaging and more product!

Additionally, we have added a new manufacturing partner with respect to the Sedona Spa product line.  Their new 50,000 square foot facility is state of the art, serves a wide variety of individual and corporate clients throughout the world and is licensed for the manufacture of food products, cosmetics and OTC formulations.

According to an article by Liz Grubow and Valerie Jacobs in one of our trade publications, GCI (Global Cosmetic Industry) (April 2009 issue), the economic turmoil that has continued into 2009 has greatly intensified consumers' anxiety.  With this concept in mind, consumers may be increasingly prone to relishing simple pleasures, re-evaluating their priorities and revising their purchasing habits accordingly.  At the annual National Retail Federation convention, former Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott warned against expecting a buying spree when the economy starts to recover.  For some skin care brands, the guiding principle will be the performance/price ratio.  Consumers may look for shopping strategies such as volume discounts and/or larger sizes in an attempt to cut down on shopping trips/orders and get a better price per ounce at the same time.
 
Consumers are exhibiting more support for the environment, a positive side effect during this recessionary time, than during any other time in history. Consumers are proud to proclaim, "I'm saving money and being greener."  Skin care manufacturers that increase the use of biodegradable/recyclable packaging could attract elusive buyers.
 
Skin care brands that will experience sustainable growth will be those that bond and form allegiances with consumers that are more than skin deep-the value proposition must be real, authentic and honest.

Mountain Moisture Conditioner through 12/31/09) and by offering liter sized product choices of Mountain Moisture Conditioner, Body Balm Moisturizer and Spa Shower Gel, allowing better pricing per ounce of product.  Sedona Spa is also dedicated to helping our environment by utilizing packaging that contains recycled materials and biodegradable packing peanuts.
